PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Rob’s practice focuses primarily on the unique needs of families, individuals and privately held businesses relating to their estate planning and business needs. His estate planning practice ranges from the preparation of simple wills and revocable trusts to more complex planning (such as family limited liability companies, partnerships, sales to family members, life insurance planning, generation-skipping tax planning, trust and estate administration, and gift and estate tax return preparation). His privately held business practice ranges from the selection and formation of new entities and start-ups to more complex planning (such as restructuring of entities; mergers and acquisitions; business succession planning; and other transactions).
EDUCATION
Rob received his J.D. from the University of Iowa in 1997 and he received a LL.M. in taxation from the University of Florida in 1998. Before attending law school, Rob attended Brigham Young University where he received a B.S. in Business Management in 1994.

PERSONAL
Rob is married to Sheri Critchfield. They are the parents of six wonderful children, four boys and two girls. While not practicing law, Rob enjoys spending time with his family, outdoor activities and cycling.
